Why We're Here

Named After
a Survivor.
Built for a Community.

Taylor's Bridge is named after Taylor — a 10-year-old cancer survivor, gifted artist, and the reason this work exists. Her journey through pediatric cancer revealed gaps that no family should ever face alone: housing instability, financial strain, and a lack of wraparound support when it matters most.


This organization was built to be the bridge that families need — from crisis to stability, from surviving to thriving. Austin and Chicago's West Side have waited long enough. We're here to change that.

Taylor's Bridge operates through two complementary organizations — each with a distinct role, unified by one mission: dignified, stable housing for every family who needs it across Chicago's South and West Sides.

LLC · Development

Taylor's Bridge Housing LLC

The development arm, responsible for financing, constructing, and managing 80–100 units of affordable housing across Chicago — with our sights set on the Washington & Pine site in Ward 37, Austin as our first development.

Taylor's Bridge Foundation

At the heart of Taylor's Bridge Foundation are families facing pediatric cancer and medical emergencies — because no family should lose their home while fighting for their child's life. Every tenant in our affordable housing community has access to our comprehensive wraparound services: credit & financial coaching, healthcare navigation, childcare, workforce development, GED support, and grants.
